Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of QuoteTalk, operated by QuoteTalk App LLC (“we”). By using QuoteTalk, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you use the service for a business, you represent that you are authorized to act for it.

1. The service

QuoteTalk is drafting and organizational software that helps contractors turn spoken or uploaded job information into quotes they can review, edit, save and send. AI-generated output can contain mistakes.

2. Review every quote

You are responsible for reviewing every generated quote before sending it. QuoteTalk may misunderstand speech, measurements, quantities, prices, scope, names or other project details. Verify all information, calculations and customer-facing language. Generated quotes are drafts until reviewed and sent by you. QuoteTalk does not independently determine appropriate contractor pricing or guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any quote.

3. No professional advice

QuoteTalk does not provide legal, tax, accounting, engineering, construction, estimating or other professional advice. You remain responsible for business decisions, pricing, contracts, permits, compliance and the work you perform. QuoteTalk is not a party to your contracts with customers.

4. Accounts

Provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and should contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not access another user’s account or share access in a way that undermines security.

5. Your content and customer communications

You must have appropriate rights and authority to submit recordings, business information and customer/job information. Obtain any permissions required for recording other people. You are responsible for the content you submit, generated quotes you use, and communications you send. Do not submit information you are not authorized to disclose.

Sent quotes are shared through customer links that anyone possessing the link can open. Review the recipient and document before sending. Changes to a saved draft do not rewrite an already-sent quote snapshot.

6. Free usage and subscriptions

QuoteTalk offers limited free usage and an optional paid subscription. Current prices, usage limits and billing intervals are shown in the product and at checkout. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Stripe processes billing and provides the subscription-management portal linked from Settings.

You can cancel through that portal. A cancellation scheduled for the end of a paid period normally leaves paid access in place through that period; the portal shows the applicable date. When paid entitlement ends, new quote generation is subject to the free allowance already used. Cancellation does not itself delete your account or saved quotes. Contact support for billing issues or refund requests. Any mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use QuoteTalk for unlawful activity, fraud, harassment, infringement, malicious uploads, bypassing usage limits, unauthorized access or interference with the service. Do not attempt to extract credentials or other users’ information, or use the service to send abusive or unauthorized messages.

8. Intellectual property

QuoteTalk’s software, design and branding belong to their respective owners. These Terms grant you permission to use the service, not ownership of the software or branding. You retain your rights in business and customer content you submit. You grant us the limited permission to host, process, reproduce and transmit that content as necessary to provide, secure and support QuoteTalk, including through service providers. We do not claim ownership of your business content.

9. Third-party services

QuoteTalk relies on authentication, AI, hosting, email and payment providers. Their availability and applicable terms may affect your use of the service. We do not control their systems or guarantee their performance.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a useful service, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may maintain, modify or discontinue functionality, subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations. Keep copies of important business records.

11. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, QuoteTalk is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that generated content will be accurate or suitable for a particular job. These Terms do not exclude warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including lost profits or business opportunities, arising from use of the service. Our total liability arising from the service is limited to fees you paid to QuoteTalk during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot legally be limited, and do not restrict mandatory consumer rights.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, abuse, security risks or legal requirements. You may stop using the service and request account deletion through support. Cancel a paid subscription separately through the billing portal to stop renewal. Loss of access does not automatically erase retained records; retention is described in our Privacy Policy and is subject to applicable obligations.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms and the effective date. We will provide notice of material changes when required by law. If you do not agree to revised Terms, stop using the service and cancel any subscription before its next renewal.
